I have got myself into some serious financial trouble and it is really stressing me out. At the moment, I am in $24,000 in debt which I am finding it hard to repay. I have been thinking of various solutions to help me out, but I have no idea and now I do not know what to do about it. My biggest worry is being sent to prison and bailiffs coming to my house and removing sentimental items that have been handed down to me by family members. I am currently working at the moment, but my salary is not that great.

In your details you have listed that you are in $24000 debt. Is this correct or is the debt in pounds? If the debt is in dollars then there are a few matters that need to be taken into account. Firstly are you a UK resident? Which country is the debt from? What type of debt is it? Is there any debt in sterling? Depending on your answers to these questions there maybe something that can be advised.
