Hi everyone
It has been 40 days and 4 hours since we first found this site, at the time we were confused, unsure and scared as to what we could do about our situation.
Today we sorted it!!! At the court at 10:30 a.m. by 12 o'clock we were looking for somewhere to have lunch after being told to expect a call by 4 p.m. to confirm that the BR had all gone through. Didn't have to see the judge at all, the whole experience was so easy and painless, I don't know what we were worrying about .
We will be posting later with our individual accounts of the last few days and the court experience as we have two different perspectives, just going to enjoy a glass of Vino now so the later threads could be interesteing!!!!
Many thanks to everyone, those who have given advice and those who have shared experiences, we will be sure to keep an up to date account of what happens to us over the next few weeks.

Hi everyone
Would like to thank everyone for their support, didn't get to post yesterday evening as we didn't receive the promised call from the court so we were unsure as to whether everything had be signed off.
However, just got off the phone to the court and have been officially declared bankrupt . Never thought I would be happy about hearing that news but it is such a relief.
I am going to put together my thoughts on the last couple of weeks in a seperate thread and hopefully Mrs B will do the same so everyone can see both sides of what we have been going through up to this point.
